My grandmother was suffering from pancreatic cancer; one night she was admitted at 9 PM because she had been disoriented all day. At first the doctors didn't even want to examine her or let her rest. They said her test results were normal for her illness. She didn't receive treatment until the next day at 3 PM. My grandmother died yesterday — and one of the bigger reasons, besides the cancer, are the doctors at this hospital. The worst.

We had to visit the hospital during our cruise (kidney stone). The hospital has a separate entrance for foreigners, where someone guaranteed speaks English. A kind nurse accompanied us to the doctor. The doctor himself also spoke good English and was efficient and competent. Right in front of the hospital is a pharmacy that had all the medicines we needed. At first we were worried about having to go to a hospital in a foreign country, but we were treated so kindly. Thank you very much!

Highly recommended for anyone who needs urgent help! They accept foreigners here (even on Sundays), clear signage, clean, friendly and responsive staff! There's parking. On the road from Budva to Kotor, my daughter (15 years old) developed severe pain in her right side, so we went hoping to get an examination and, if necessary, help. The result: bladder ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, blood test, urine test, IV drip... All within 2.5 hours. Honestly, I wasn't expecting such service given the standards in this resort area 😇

This is a place where you’ll have to wait a very long time before getting any contact with a doctor. It’s very sad that the doctors and staff don’t speak either English or Russian. I don’t understand how they obtained their qualifications and work without knowing any foreign languages. I hope no one ever has to visit this place.

I want to leave a review about the hospital, the Kotor maternity ward. In short: attentive and cheerful staff :) The C-section was planned for May 19, but my daughter decided without asking to come into the world on May 11. In the morning my water broke and we rushed from Budva to Kotor. And yes, we were very lucky — it was a Sunday, when there are generally few people. But I had already been seeing Dr. Antonia in Kotor. They admitted me without question, but I had to wait another 4 hours for everyone to assemble, and the contractions, second phase, that was hell... It was pouring like crazy, and this was my first child. They did all the procedures while we waited for my doctor, and a leading OB-GYN from the KDC clinic was also there. I don't remember her name, and it's hard to even get an appointment with her. In the end, two doctors operated on me. The atmosphere is friendly, calm, and everything is under control. The hospital surprised me with how well-equipped it is, and with good furniture — orthopedic beds, etc. They washed me for 2 days, took care of me. And I was uncomfortable with it. After the anesthesia wore off, I started walking and showering myself, because movement is life. And there's nothing as bad there as I had been frightened with. I was in a double room; such a room in Moscow would cost a fortune. And yes, the maternity ward serves the municipalities of Kotor, Herceg Novi, and partly Budva. My insurance was from HN, but I live in Budva. I asked to be discharged on the 4th day, but I wanted earlier. The nurses will consult and teach you if needed. In short, everyone there is great, from the cleaners to the doctors :)

Extremely satisfied with the way they work and how they treated me and my son. We didn't see the nurses smoking cigarettes during the night shift (pediatrics), it was as clean as it could be under all the circumstances. To keep it short, all praise to the staff, and may they have as little work as possible 🙏🙏 …

I had an allergic reaction to shellfish while eating at a restaurant in old town Kotor and was rushed here for treatment. The staff were great. There’s an English translator who follows me throughout the examination process to bridge any language gap. The doctor spoke decent English to converse with me and anything he and I don’t comprehend, the translator would step in. It was a bit expensive but they knew right away how to treat me and prescribe medication to prevent biphasic episode. I’m grateful they were a 5mins drive from old town and I got the help I needed in time. Thank you to the doctor and all the staff.

I would like to express deep gratitude to the entire hospital team — this is a real team capable of giving a person their life back. All necessary conditions are there: medicine, good nutrition, attention to the patient; but one must also know honor and respect for the doctors, we have them in abundance. Thank you from Dmitri, God bless you!

It's my first time at this center. Right at the entrance my attention was drawn to the clean and tidy hospital courtyard. Certainly praiseworthy. I went to pick up CT scan results for another person and came across a very kind young gentleman who gave me the result even before the indicated time, with a smile. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the space I passed through on my way to my destination.

I would most warmly like to praise the Kotor hospital, and especially my treating physician, Dr. Miloš Milić, the head of the department Dr. Mladen Donković, the hospital director Dr. Davor Kumburović, as well as all the other staff. Their professionalism, expertise, and empathy exceed expectations. Dr. Milić is an incredibly dedicated and attentive doctor who inspires confidence and trust with every piece of advice and approach. Head Donković is an example of a top expert and leader, while director Kumburović is clearly someone leading this institution with a clear vision, dedication, and care for patients and staff. The entire hospital staff, from the nurses to the technical staff, shows humanity, patience, and kindness at every step. Their dedication makes the hospital a place where the patient feels in the best of hands. This hospital is not just a healthcare facility but an example of what top-quality healthcare should look like. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for everything you do for us patients!
