Where to begin… Tamara is exceptionally incompetent at her work, incapable of carrying out more complex — or rather, any — medical procedures. She also resorts to lies and deception and tries to push fixed braces on patients purely for material gain and to experiment in the hope of learning something. From her so-called "treatments" and tooth extractions (which I doubt actually needed that kind of intervention), I suffered unbearable pain, for which she refused to take any responsibility, instead trying to convince me it was all in my head. As a teenager, during a "repair" of my teeth, I fell for her lies that I needed fixed braces, even though my teeth were completely straight and my wisdom teeth had already grown in long before. She insisted that in a few years there would be chaos there, and proposed pulling my second molars, which she actually just didn't know how to fix. To make matters worse, she only pulled them on the left side of my jaw, dragging all my teeth completely to the left by the full length of the extracted molars. As a result, my smile was asymmetrical. That is something any mediocre dentist should know. Later, since the woman isn't all there (if you haven't already concluded that) and forgets what she's told whom, she even admitted that I never needed fixed braces at all — but that I, imagine now, INSISTED on it. Whenever I came in for a check-up she would smirk, subtly insult and humiliate me instead of holding her tongue. Luckily, in Zagreb I found a team of experts who were astonished at the unprofessionalism and ignorance of this "doctor." I spent a huge amount of money to fix the chaos she left behind, and from the very start I never even needed fixed braces. I also have to emphasize that Tamara is extremely arrogant and rude to patients. She has a particular aversion to young female patients. Probably a midlife crisis. I'm writing this so that no one else gets burned; I've shared my experience with friends and acquaintances in Kotor, and I'll say it here too — stay as far away as possible from this woman who has no knowledge but plenty of mental issues and the audacity to do such things!!!

I went to this clinic because of good recommendations, but the entire process turned out to be a huge disappointment. "Doctor" Tamara was constantly accidentally cutting my lips and gums, and when I'd say it hurt, she'd say it was my fault — that I have full lips and that I just don't know how to endure pain… WHAT?! Once she placed a bracket incorrectly and the condition of my teeth got worse. Doctor Tamara constantly talks in an aggressive manner and is at least an hour late; I waited for her 2 hours several times even though I'd arrived from another city at the scheduled time. The receptionists never answer the phone, the assistants first scroll their Instagram feed on the phone and then put the same gloves into your mouth, which leads to absolute unsanitary conditions; the doctor herself also often forgot to put gloves on. Don't go to this clinic if you don't want to lose your time, money, health, and nerves.

We had a very bad experience with Doctor Brkanović! Out of 10 examinations and check-ups we had with her, she was present at only 1 or 2; all the other examinations are done by her substitutes or nurses — I don't even know what they are! Every appointment is scheduled at an exact time, but you always wait at least half an hour while they pretend to be utterly professional!!! The check-ups were done through social insurance; if I had been paying, never — but NEVER — would I have gone to her for an examination or anything else; she behaves like a president — what a disgrace!!!

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with Dr. Tamara Brkanović at Ortho Centar in Kotor. We were receiving orthodontic care from her for our minor son. He had an unusually shaped tooth and she didn't like the way it looked. She recommended grinding it down to make it look more "normal" even though it was healthy and presented no problems whatsoever. We clearly told her we did not want to do this. Even so, on our next visit, she did it anyway without our knowledge. We only found out later when our son told us what she had done. Now that tooth is painful and sensitive, and likely will be for the rest of his life. We were warned by another adult patient of hers that she makes unnecessary recommendations like this and then pushes them against her patients' wishes, but we didn't listen. We thought telling her no would have been enough, but we were wrong! She went against our explicitly communicated desires as our son's parents and intentionally damaged a perfectly healthy tooth. We regret going to her in the first place. I would avoid using her office. There are other choices for orthodontists in Montenegro.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tamara for over 7 years, and she has earned my trust through her expertise! It is an understatement to say that I am thrilled with her work, as well as with her manner of treating us — her patients. Always very kind and, what is most important to me — meticulous and dedicated in her work. I wore fixed braces for almost 3 years; sometimes I would come up to 4 times a month for her to check or seal something, and the doctor would look at how my teeth were progressing each time with the same attention — as if it were a regular check-up. That means a lot to me and gives me confidence. My warmest recommendation to anyone who wants: healthy teeth and a beautiful smile! 5 stars for the entire Ortho Centar team!

I have been going to Dr. Tamara Brkanović for many years now, and I can really say it was one of the best decisions I've made. I had a severe tooth deformity, but the doctor is a great professional for whom nothing is a problem. From the very first day, both she and her team have been very kind, full of understanding (when it comes to pain and endurance), dedicated to their work, and perfectionists (which is very important to me, especially in this profession). The atmosphere in the clinic is always relaxed, and the music is excellent 😄. I would also add that she will always have my recommendation wherever I go, because I really haven't noticed this level of professionalism and dedication anywhere else. ❣️

Excellent team and very skilled and kind staff. Dr. Tamara is more than an excellent expert and connoisseur of her work; she earned my trust immediately at the first examination. Each examination was done with great dedication and attention to the smallest details to achieve an outstanding result. Special recommendation if you have an orthodontic problem. 😁 Definitely HIGHLY recommending her services 🤩

I would like to thank Dr. Brkanovic for her profesionalism and great work! I was recently visiting Montenegro to visit my family and had a dental emergancy, Dr. Brkanovic came very reccomended by my family there and the promises did not dissapoint! I am usually very frightend about visiting dentists (past expiriences were not that great) but at Ortho Centar I was treated with the best care I could not have imagend. They helped me with my emergancy and saved me from having a painful and problematic holiday! I would like to thank them from my heart for everything they did!

Hello everyone!I just finished my orthodontic at Dr.Brkanovic’ office.She it’s super nice & helpful.My teeth are perfect now:)I think everyone might be have different experience or different evaluations of same doctor.This it’s normal.So I will definitely recommend Dr.Brkanovic to my friend 🙂 …

With my reacent trip to MN, I've had some issues with my braces and the help from OrthoCentar was great. The staff and Dr.Brkanovic we're very professional and if I ever need help whilst in MN, I know where I'm going.
