We were there hospitalized for 7 days because my father fell and hit his head very hard. The hospital is wonderful — you can walk along its terrace and enjoy that marvelous environment. All the staff who attended to us were super attentive and took great care of us, and although some didn't speak English, they tried to understand. And without a doubt, nurse Ana and Dr. Anika are wonderful. Despite the scare and the situation, they took super good care of us. Wonderful people.

A hospital whose old reputation and shine Dr. Vlado Popovic is restoring!!! Vaso Cukovic rejoices in the heavens!!! All praise to the management and medical staff who once provided quality care in inhumane conditions and on shamefully small salaries through superhuman efforts! Onward — better days lie ahead for the hospital..

I want to express my sincere respect and gratitude to the entire team of Risan General Hospital, especially to the director and top neurosurgeon Dr. Vlado Popović, who operated on me. From the first examination to the procedure itself and postoperative recovery, everything was at the highest possible level — professional, humane and with sincere care for the patient. Every step was explained clearly and expertly, which gave me enormous confidence and security. The operation went perfectly, without complications, and after a short time I felt great relief and returned to a normal life. Dr. Vlado Popović and his team are proof that in our hospitals one can work like in the best European centers — with knowledge, experience and humanity. I am grateful for the care, attention and dedication they showed toward me and all patients. I wholeheartedly recommend Risan General Hospital to anyone looking for a serious medical institution with skilled and dedicated staff. We had to climb a bit uphill on old steps. Not steep. Inside it's clean, spacious, fresh. Documents are accepted by 3 workers at once. We've been waiting for the doctor for 2 hours already. But it's comfortable to wait. Seats for waiting. Air conditioners. Toilets. Everything is clean and calm. They highly praise the orthopedist. They say everyone tries to get in to see him. That's according to my companion. Anyway, there are doctors and an X-ray right there, and apparently operations are done here too. There also seems to be emergency care for injuries. We're waiting to be called in. There was time to write a review and take photos.

Wonderful DR Adrovic ❤️ unlike his colleagues who casually sent my husband back and refused to change his bandages because, my God… HE IS NOT THEIR PATIENT!!!! So much for the Hippocratic Oath…

Once this institution could be proud of good, above all, people — skilled doctors. The building was run-down, but at every step you could feel love, attention and good energy. Now they have painted the corridors and lost all the treasures they had...

THE MONTENEGRIN MINISTRY DOES NOT DESERVE HIM! FOR HIM, A 5 Dr. Nebojsa Seratlic is an exceptional neurologist and top expert. His professionalism, attention and dedication to patients inspire confidence. He is always ready to provide adequate treatment and answer all questions. I sincerely recommend him!

The leg was swollen, in pain to the point of losing consciousness, painkillers didn't help, a puncture was urgently needed. We arrived, were taken to the second floor. We all🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 waited for one nurse for 20 minutes; she rushed out, saw that the person was really unwell, ran away. She came running back, said to wait who knows how long for the doctor, that she can't do anything without a doctor. OK, the doctor came. She walked out casually without asking anything, saw the person crying, said you need a psychiatrist, not a doctor. OK. I explained that maybe at least a painkiller. An hour later they agreed to give a painkiller. THAT'S IT! They didn't help in any way. They charged 25€ for the "examination", a doctor who ran out-ran in-ran out-ran in saying you need a psychiatrist .. such a doctor herself needs a psychiatrist :) honestly, I don't recommend))) I would give -5, but the minimum is 1.

Don’t go to that hospital, it looks like an abandoned hospital. You can film a horror movie and most of the equipment are going back to 2nd world war… no paper toilet, only bread and beans for food. My 69year old mother had a broken vertebra and the doctor refuse to give us the copy of the scan so we can have a copy when we go back to our country… horror story
