I am writing to you to explain the result of the laser eye surgery that was performed at the “Laser Focus” clinic in Budva. Before the surgery, my vision was assessed at approximately 20–30%, and I also had a problem with so-called “shadows” or a hologram-like effect when looking, which was the main reason I decided to have the surgery. During the consultations before the procedure, I was told that after the surgery I could expect vision of at least 80%, which was the key factor in my decision to undergo the procedure. After the surgery, I was initially told that everything was fine and that the eye needed a certain amount of time to fully recover. So far I have had three follow-up check-ups after the surgery, during which I was repeatedly told that the condition would improve as time passed. However, as time went by, I noticed that my vision had practically returned to its pre-surgery state — that is, I currently see a maximum of 50%, which is significantly less than what I was promised. The problem with “shadows” when looking is also still present, which is why I believe the surgery did not solve the problem for which I came to the clinic. I also want to emphasize that during the second check-up I was told you would not leave me dissatisfied and that, if necessary, a vision correction would be performed. Despite that, at the last examination I was told that I do not have any diopters and that, in the doctor's opinion, the problem is “in my head,” which I find an unprofessional and unacceptable explanation given the symptoms I still have.

Terrible clinic, I don't recommend it to anyone. I came to order glasses, they checked my vision and sent me to the Plaza shopping center to have the glasses made — as a result, the lenses didn't fit; I threw the glasses out along with 200€.
