Thank you for sharing your feedback.
It appears that there was a misunderstanding caused by information passed on to you by your friend, who was the actual patient. The treatment you planned to pay for was not for a single root canal, but for a complex treatment of a two-canal tooth, completed in three full stages.
This comprehensive process included:
1 appointment)• anesthesia, rubber dam, X-rays,two-stage sterilization of the two root canals with rotary instruments + temporary calcium filling -167 euro ( You only paid for this service)
2 appointment )• anesthesia, rubber dam, X-rays,sterilization of the two root canals+permanent filling of the canals, and temporary filling- 157 euro
3 appointment)• rubber dam + a final restoration (the filling of the tooth).- 89 euro.
All of these steps were carefully explained, calculated, and agreed upon with the patient in advance.
We do not see our fault in the fact that your friend did not agree on the cost with you and made the written decision to proceed with the treatment on their own.
We would also like to clarify that it is not possible to place a dental implant in our country for €189. The market price for an implant typically starts from around €500, depending on the brand and system used.
Moreover, saving a natural, living tooth through endodontic treatment is often a more complex and delicate procedure than implant placement. In your case, the treatment performed was exactly that — a detailed, multi-stage effort to preserve the patient’s natural tooth.
We completely understand that this situation may have caused confusion, but please rest assured that our pricing and procedures are always transparent and based on quality, safety, and professional ethics.
We truly appreciate your feedback and remain open to further discussion if you wish to clarify any details personally.
Warm regards,
director Dental Clinic.
