I'm not a dentist, so it's not for me to judge the correctness of the procedure — I'll just tell you about my experience. I came with a temporary filling, after treatment for deep cavities by another doctor who said "if there's pain, the nerve needs to be removed." I came precisely for that. Irina said the nerve didn't need to be removed because "there's still a lot of distance to it" and the tooth hurts because the filling is temporary and a regular one needs to be placed. (My friend who came with the same problem on the same day was told the same thing) About the experience: They drill quite aggressively and roughly, about 7 times part of the instrument fell into my mouth. They were in a big hurry, everything was done in less than half an hour. (My friend was drilled down to the gum). The doctor is strict and quite self-assured — at the end wouldn't file down the filling to a comfortable level, even though I insisted it was uncomfortable, left it very high and sent me to walk around until the anesthesia wears off because "it seems to me." (My friend had the same story). In the end, I returned after an hour, sat in line again, and they finally filed down my tooth, though it's still not very comfortable. A week later the tooth still hurts, it hurts to eat, hurts to drink sweet things and breathe cold air.. Ps. The pain isn't subsiding but only getting worse + it started aching at night.. 👍 Pss It turned out to be pulpitis (the clinic drilled down to the nerve) — now I'm having everything redone..

Expensive, at local dentists you can get 2 teeth done for the price of one. Everything else seems fine. A year ago there were also problems with X-rays, the doctor couldn't take them...

Professional cleaning gets a C grade. Maybe I'm spoiled by good dental clinics, I don't know. But I left with tartar on my teeth, just as I came. Thank you very much for the gum care recommendation, the information is really useful.
