We understand a mother wants what’s best for her child. As medical professionals, we also want what’s best for our patients. This is why we follow medical protocols, while also taking care of the specific needs
of a patient.
Our decision to take the blood sample from the finger was in the child’s best interest, as his both hands were already severely bruised after the samples were taken from his veins in another hospital.
There were no obstacles when it comes to the analyses accuracy having in mind technology we use, and it was easier and less painful for the child – that was our reasoning. We’re quite proud to be able to provide such service on a benefit of your child, yet sad we failed to make it clear it is a valid one and that we followed very strict medical protocols in every step taken.
You have every right to follow advice from other places and to take into consideration different possibilities for your child, as you did when you decided we can’t provide the service based on the sample taken from the finger. But please note that we provided proof that analyses will be valid. Of course, it was your right to not consider it, but we must be accurate and transparent when it comes to the standards and procedures we follow.
In the end, we respected your decision to not use the analyses provided and we gave you your money back.
We furthermore respect your decision to not use our services again, but for the sake of transparency towards our patients, we need to update the information you provided. We’ll do our best to use your review to improve our service, so we thank you for your feedback, again.
