Came in today with around 10 sea urchin spikes firmly embedded into my knee. I was courteously assisted at the reception and moments later shown to a doctor who briefly checked the situation before leading me to a colleague who did her utmost best to remove the spikes. After 30 minutes or so, three were removed. She then suggested that I come back tomorrow after having applied some cream which should, in theory, make the spikes more readily removable as it was very tricky (and painful). Let's see how things pan out tomorrow. Price was reasonable and all the staff were super friendly
Reviews about Milmedika Budva
154Polyclinic
We visited Milmedika several times. We got certificates for kindergarten, the examination was not just a formality — they didn't give one of our daughters a certificate, instead they ordered tests and treatment. We don't speak Montenegrin, but that didn't hinder communication, the doctors understand everything and explain well. Including in English.
The second time we came when our daughter had a high fever and dyspepsia, her condition was serious, we were already thinking about going to Kotor. But at Milmedika they quickly did the tests, prescribed the right treatment, immediately set up all the necessary IV drips and in 2 days the child was healthy. We are very grateful to the doctors and satisfied with the service.
As for the prices, it's clear that it's a paid clinic, but everything is reasonable when it comes to a child's health, we paid no more than a hundred euros for everything.
We were lucky, there were no queues.
We found this clinic through reviews and a recommendation from the owners of the apartment we are renting. My mom had severe back pain. There was a suspicion it was the kidneys. We arrived, there were quite a few people at the reception, but they all dispersed very quickly. They listened to us and quickly scheduled an appointment with a urologist. Within 10 minutes my mom was already having an ultrasound and the diagnosis was not confirmed. They said it was the back. They immediately prescribed an injection, administered it at the clinic, plus wrote a prescription for treatment. The doctor explained everything. We are very satisfied with the visit. They didn't require insurance, only a passport. A full examination, ultrasound and injection with medications cost 80 euros. That's a perfectly reasonable price for a private clinic and good service. And my mom felt better. The language of communication is English. You can prepare text on your phone in a translator, the medical staff reacts happily to that)
During our recent holiday in Montenegro, I started to feel unwell with a suspected sinus infection. After 14 days of no change in my condition, I visited the Milmedika centre. On arrival, I noticed that at least three of the nurses spoke good English and within ten minutes I was seen by a doctor. I was given a full check-up, a blood test, and given a nebulizer to help me breathe better. Rather than just administer antibiotics the doctor took a full holistic approach and gave me probiotics, rehydration sachets, vitamin sachets, a nasal spray, and drops. This would give my body a fighting chance of a full recovery. I can not recommend Milmedika enough. I felt like I was in good, capable hands 🙏
I arrived at Milmedika with an acute bacterial intestinal infection, dehydrated and weak. The facility is new and clean and the doctor was excellent. She immediately gave me antibiotic IV drips to help me, and blood tests to better understand the situation. The nurses are all great, but the best one for me remains Ana! A young girl, kind, who was able to translate for me in English! If it weren't for her I would never have been able to communicate! Thank you for saving me and helping me!
All praise to the friendly staff. Our child got a fever, we didn't have an appointment, and they saw us within 5 minutes. We really liked Doctor Čizmović because he thoroughly examined the child (listened to the lungs, checked the throat, ears, nose, felt the stomach..) and referred for additional blood tests, which we especially appreciate when a doctor doesn't prescribe antibiotics blindly. The nurse who took the blood sample was also wonderful, smiling and patient. Results were ready in 5 minutes.
A big recommendation from our side!
They refused to help me after a dislocated finger, even though I am a UNIQA client (I had the policy with me). They sent me home to sort out paperwork with UNIQA, although before my visit I checked with UNIQA and they said that a doctor's visit does not need to be pre-approved. Both companies are terrible — instead of providing first aid, they send you back and forth. If you need emergency help, you won't get it here; you'll sooner die while sorting out paperwork
All praise for nurse Tamara, brother Filip, and doctor Čizmović. If there were more medical staff like them, probably no child would ever be afraid of hospitals, needles, or IV drips.
If you need anything urgent for medical , especially child doctor this is the place that you need to go. Doctors, Nurses even the receptionist was very good. Affordable prices. Thanks for everything you did for my daughter
We are Spanish and our baby got sick, we contacted our travel insurance and they told us to go there, as soon as we arrived they attended to us and indicated the treatment to follow, thank you very much and keep it up.
