I'll just say if you plan to give birth here, God help you because you depend on yourself. The friendliest one is the waitress, some midwives can't even find a vein, pediatric nurses (with rare exceptions) are uninterested - not to mention one who came to teach me how to breastfeed and her fingers smelled so much of cigarettes that I felt like vomiting, not the baby who needs to nurse (if it weren't funny it would be sad). The rest are all dolled up as if going to a club with their done-up nails???Women after a C-section have it the worst because they depend on them the most, the only satisfied ones are those who did well with natural birth so they don't need much help from them (and they leave quickly anyway). Almost 5 months after giving birth I'm writing this, the reason I didn't earlier, and why many women don't write, is that we have no energy or will after birth while caring for a baby to deal with them (because we can't wait to get out of there). If only this job were done by people with more humanity and empathy (again I say, with rare exceptions :)) The only positive thing while I was there is that it was really clean.

It is difficult, and also unfair, to give one review for such a large institution as a clinical center. Therefore, the purpose of this review is to draw attention to the problems and to warn patients about what may await them. The most important thing to say: the clinical center employs very different people. I have encountered both involvement, engagement and a sincere desire to help, as well as an openly dismissive attitude, worse than simple indifference. I'm writing this review after an unsuccessful 4-hour wait in line at the Polyclinic Department of Gastroenterology. The review will be somewhat more subjective. So, the main downsides you can find when coming for treatment: - Depressing organization of the department's work. The patient queue is chaotic, without any visible system. Doctors and nurses are constantly running somewhere, ignoring some and paying attention to others. - Everything is old and very worn: chairs, stretchers, peeling walls, unpleasant restrooms. Reminder: this is the main and only medical institution of all specialties in the entire country. The face of Montenegro's medicine, one might say. - Some medical workers show visible hostility. This was surprising, I hadn't encountered this before. Usually empathy and care are fine here. But not always, it seems. I deliberately don't write the names of staff I'd like to give a bad review to. We're all human, who knows what reasons there are for such an attitude. - Complete chaos with parking. Sidewalks completely blocked on the approaches to the clinical center. But the review won't be only about downsides. I want to mention important positives: + Despite individual negative manifestations, doctors on the whole are very good, sincerely and diligently performing their tasks. I want to gratefully mention the doctors of the children's dental department, some doctors of children's gastroenterology, and the nurses of adult and children's gastroenterology. + The doctors performing gastroenterological procedures are beyond all praise! Summing up: the main thing to worry about when going to the clinical center is the organizational aspects. They lag the most. The doctors and staff on the whole are excellent.

Left over communist healthcare system, i.e., a good place to die from simple things, by the time someone gets to see you, you might be dead. Your emergency is NOT an emergency for them. Overall, the building is in need of long overdue good housekeeping and repair maintenance. Good luck

I had an extremely positive experience with ophthalmologists dr Milojko and dr Lješnjak Taušan. Both doctors are professional, thorough, knowledgeable and precise. I especially appreciate their empathy, humanity and care for the patient.

Doctor Dino Kadic is an excellent specialist, a wonderful person, gentle and extremely kind to children. Because of him and certain people from the emergency center reception this rating, otherwise the system is in chaos, like in Serbia. An appeal to the authorities to help these people, raise salaries drastically, hire a far greater number of qualified people, provide all the necessary modern equipment. Just 5% less fill your overflowing arrogant pockets and invest that money in healthcare because your children will need it too.

I broke my finger and came to the emergency center. I want to thank the doctors here and dilute so many negative reviews. The orthopedist immediately sent me for an X-ray, the doctor there also helped with everything, explained, did it quickly and sent me back to the orthopedist. Within 3 minutes the images were already with him and he made a diagnosis and prescribed treatment, explained everything in English. At the reception they also speak English and explained everything clearly. My fears about medicine turned out to be unfounded, although because of them I did not even want to go to the doctor. But the working conditions for doctors are, of course, sad. Thank you for the quick help and pleasant treatment.

We always preferred private hospitals. However, due to Independence Day the private hospitals were closed and we came to the state hospital because of an emergency. We came with prejudice but were wrong. At the internal medicine department they immediately took us in for examination. The doctor and nurses were very kind and gentle. Although we do not speak the same language, we patiently communicated using Google Translate. Since I have a residence permit, they admitted us without any problems. An ultrasound and blood test were needed — within 1 hour all examinations were done. Being an old building, there are hygiene shortcomings. You can think of it like Turkey's SSK hospitals from 15 years ago. But the doctors and nurses are very attentive, thank you for everything 🙏🏻

I feel the need to address everyone publicly! Because of the pain my family and I feel over the loss of our family member! I am ashamed to be a citizen of Montenegro. As for KCCG, woe to us who they "treat" and into whose hands we fall! Those who cannot afford private treatment, unfortunately the elderly who end up here will not come out! One big disappointment! My grandmother had 2 heart attacks on the 17th and was admitted to the hospital in Pljevlja where they gave her everything she needed. On the 18th (Sunday) she was transferred to Podgorica, and when she arrived at the Clinical Center, first we waited for the nurses to come see where to place her, while the woman with all that pain was lying in the ambulance stretcher plus it was hot, 30 degrees. Nobody came for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes a nurse took her to the ward. We as a family knew nothing — whether they would operate on her immediately or what would happen next. Nobody addressed us until the evening when we called to see what was happening. Only around 9 PM they told us: "Stable condition, she had a procedure, 2 stents were implanted." On the 19th, Monday morning, we went to visit her to find out if everything was OK, if she needed anything — nobody would let us in!!! My mother asked for the doctor who operated on my grandmother — he was unreachable as if he were a protected person. We tried to get to the Coronary Unit where she was placed — they would not let us in, visits strictly forbidden. After 2 hours of begging, only my mother could enter for 5 minutes to visit her, under one condition — she had to take a COVID test, which she did immediately and they let her see her mother! After the visit, my mother came out of the Coronary Unit distraught, saying my grandmother was very bad... that we needed to find the doctor who performed the procedure. After 1 hour of searching, my mother spoke with him! And his words were: "Who told you your mother is fine? She is not fine at all. She had 2 heart attacks, her heart is 70% damaged, 2 stents were implanted, now she is in God's hands." Is it possible for a doctor to communicate with a family member in such a way — can he not say something gentler to console her daughter! But 2 more days passed, it was Wednesday, they moved her from the Coronary Unit to the Sub-intensive room and told us her condition was stable, that they needed to do an EKG and she would go home on Thursday. Every time we called, the nurses kept saying "She slept peacefully, condition is stable." Thursday morning at 6:40 AM my mother's phone rings and they tell us "She died, come to the hospital"!!! And we find out that on Wednesday they did not do the EKG at all because it was busy — other patients took priority over a woman who had a procedure! Unfortunately my grandmother at 5:30 AM during the nurses' shift change suffocated — her lungs stopped! She was 65 years old! And it is all their fault, because a woman who had a procedure should have been monitored non-stop and connected to equipment!!! There is much more I could write! What I have written is the short version! Just believe me, people, they are criminals there! They have no heart at all, as if they are not someone's parents, as if they do not have mothers, fathers, sisters, grandmothers, grandfathers... A great disgrace!!!!!!
