Highly competent staff, state of the art equipment and immaculately clean facilities. I was very nervous about eye surgery in general, but everything was explained and I consistently felt I was in good hands. Excellent communication. The kind surgeon and other opticians speak fluent English, Russian, local language and I am sure more...), no waiting times. Prices are very reasonable, and I had no discussion with my German insurance company for reimbursement. And best of all....I can see again! Thank you Optimal!

If you want to throw away 50e, go to Optimal for an examination. The doctor, i.e. the Russian whom we asked to perform the examination, was "busy" operating, and from the promise that he would consult with him if needed - nothing, and it was needed because they didn't help at all, they had no clue about our problem. They measured diopters, without need, just so they'd have done at least something. We could have done that for 10e-20e anywhere. Thanks to dr Edita for the "help".

I have visited many doctors, professors in Belgrade and Serbia, but I have not met a person and doctor like Sergej Alpatov, who listens to the patient, takes the medical history, reviews previous results from other doctors...he is so far the only person to whom I would entrust any procedure on my eyes. Professional, quality, and above all, humane.
